VOLUNTEER TO SERVE DURING VBS HERE

THIS YEAR'S MISSION PROJECT AND DAILY OFFERING

• Daily school supply collection for In As Much Ministry.
• The daily offering will support the Integrated Child Development Center in the Ngerenya community of Kenya. CBF of Missouri is working with CBF field personnel Sam and Melody Harrell to help meet the needs of AIDS orphans and other at-risk children through this project. The Development Center is a school for children between the ages of three and five. This year's VBS offering will:
  • Purchase a moringa tree seedling which provides health and environmental benefits in Ngerenya.
  • Provide a daily porridge meal to each of the children enrolled in the school.
  • Provide a mosquito net for each newly enrolled child.

FIFTH GRADE EXPERIENCE!
(For those who completed fifth grade in 2019.)

Fifth graders will spend VBS as a team with our Associate Pastor for Students as their leader. A couple of days during VBS they will have an extended time of fellowship fun and local mission project activity as well. This is a great way to introduce students to our student ministries and begin building that all-important camaraderie of being a part of the 2BC Student Ministry. 

Fifth-grade graduate recognition will take place during the closing session on Friday, July 12 at 11:30 a.m. Families are invited to join us for our final Safari Celebration. Fifth-grade students will receive special recognition during this service and parents, grandparents, and younger siblings are invited to participate.

FRIDAY FAMILY FUN NIGHT JULY 12 AT 7:00 P.M.
COME ONE! COME ALL!

The festivities will begin with a short program presented by VBS children in the Sanctuary. We will then move to the 2BC parking lot on the east side of Lightburne for games, food, and fun. The whole family is invited!

CELEBRATION SUNDAY JULY 14 AT 11:00 A.M.

We invite all VBS students and their families to join us for our final VBS worship time together as the children will lead in worship through song.
