World Communion Lunch

We're welcoming Rachel and Noah Mumaw-Schweser (our new pastoral resident) with a fun lunch featuring food from around the world. Join us in the Social Room at 12:15 on Sunday, October 1. We'll have ten food stations, each with a delicious small plate offering. Many of the stations are gluten-free, and several stations are kid-friendly.

Food Stations

• Portugal – enrolados de tamara (wrapped dates)

• Portugal – asas de frango (chicken wings)

• Eastern Europe – oliviye (winter Russian salad)

• Southern Europe – spaghetti

• USA – hot dogs

• Asia – egg rolls

• Greek/Mediterranean – baklava

• The World – ice cream

• South America – arepas carne (corn tortilla with pork)

• Louisiana – gumbo

Cost

Each small plate will cost $1. The servings are small plate/tapas portions. So you will want several small plates for your meal.
We'll sell food tickets before the lunch and at the Social Room door. One dollar = one ticket. One ticket = one small plate of food.

9:30-11:00 – Welcome Center. Cash, check, or credit card (via the provided QR code) is accepted.
10:45-11:00 – Old Library. Credit card only (via the provided QR code) is accepted.
10:45-11:00 – Oak Room. Credit card only (via the provided QR code) is accepted.
After the service – Social Room. Cash, check, or credit card (via the provided QR code) is accepted.
