Ramadan Iftar Dinner with Dialogue Institute & the Center for Faith & Culture at William Jewell College. Join us for a cross-cultural experience of Ramadan during a community dinner. Ramadan is the month when Muslims fast and refrain from drinking and eating from pre-dawn to sunset. It is also a tradition to break the fast together with family, neighbors, and friends. At the dinner, we will learn more about this event, which is so important to our Muslim friends, and enjoy a meal together.
The schedule for the evening is:
6:30-6:45 | Reception
6:45 | Welcome Speech
6:50-7:25 | Presentation about Dialogue Institute and Ramadan (fasting)
7:25 | Ramadan Dinner (Iftar)
