A Lent Sunday morning study of the Stephen Ministries book resource, “Caring Assertiveness,” will explore the essence of assertiveness, showing how this powerful but often misunderstood relational skill can be used to communicate with confidence and care in everyday encounters and challenging situations. Sara Langford and Marilyn Buhlig will lead the four-week study.
The study will start on Sunday, March 16, and end on Sunday, April 6.
It will meet on Sunday mornings from 10:00 to 10:45 in room 312, the old library room.
Participants need to purchase the book. Each week, they will read a portion of it before Sunday morning. Then, on Sunday morning, we'll discuss the chapters we read. Order books here.
Please read the introduction and chapters 1, 2, 3, and 12 before the first meeting on March 16.
