On each Sunday of Advent, sanctuary flower arrangements will be provided to honor or remember our loved ones.

To honor a loved one with flowers and have his or her name listed in the worship guide, please make a donation of $30 per name. You can make donations and complete the required form by clicking here or by calling the church office at 816-781-2824.

The deadline to order flowers is five days before the Sunday you wish your loved one honored or remembered. The final day to order flowers is Monday, December 18. If you have questions, please contact Marcie Handrich.

How to give to the Catalyst Ministry Plan of Second Baptist Church

Of course, we welcome offerings and tithes placed in our offering plates each Sunday. However, if you’d prefer to automate your giving, we offer several secure ways to process your tithes and offerings.

Direct Deposit from Your Bank to the Church

  • Way #1 Bank to bank recurring ACH transfer Ont the 10th of each month, transfers are made of the automated payments for 2BC gifts and tithes. Any time that you want to stop your automatic payment, all you have to do is call the Ministry Assistant for Finance. There are no fees to process these transactions. These are ACH transactions (Automated Clearing House). This means these transfers are directly between your bank account and the church’s bank account. Below is a form to complete and send to the Ministry Assistant for Finance, 300 E. Kansas, Liberty, MO 64068. Your information will be uploaded into the automated system at 2BC’s bank (Pony Express Bank). Once your first payment is processed correctly, we will shred all of your account information so that it is not kept on file at the church.

Online Giving by Credit/Debit Card or Bank Account

  • Way #2 Bank through Vanco one-time or ongoing ACH transfer We also offer ACH directly on our 2BCLiberty.org website through Vanco, a reputable third-party provider. There is no fee for an ACH transfer through Vanco. This requires your bank account information provided to Vanco on the website. You can process one-time payments or ongoing payments. You can pick your own dates for the payments. There’s quite a bit of flexibility on the website.

  • Way #3 Credit/debit card through Vanco If you prefer to provide your gift from a credit or debit card through Vanco, you can do this on your date of choice. The church pays a 3% transaction fee for gifts made this way. You can download the Vanco Mobile App. The app can be found in app stores. It is called Vanco Mobile Faith Engagement. A special code is required to access the 2BC pages of this App. Call the church office to obtain this code.

  • Way #4 Giving by text through Vanco Whether you want to set up recurring donations or give a one-time donation, giving has never been easier. Text “$” and the amount you'd like to give to (844) 415-0213.

Giving by Check

  • Way #5 mail checks Some people are concerned with the safety of their online financial data. If you feel uncomfortable with it, please continue to mail your checks, place them in the Welcome Center wall safe drop, or place them in the offering plate.
