| Our next Celebrating the Arts concert is Sunday, April 12, at 3 p.m. in the sanctuary. We are thrilled to host the Woodwind quintet La Gioia Winds. 2BC’s own Teresa Posey Miller is a member. The concert is free, and you don’t want to miss it!
They will present a westward journey of wind quintets. We’ll travel with them from the beginnings of chamber winds in Europe to modern-day North America. We hope you can make it! It will be a delightful time of beautiful music.
About the Celebrating the Arts Series
The Celebrating the Arts series began to honor Ann Posey’s nearly forty years of service as the Second Baptist organist. The inaugural concert was held on October 13, 2019, and featured the Liberty Community Chorus. Ann is admired not only for her exceptional musical skills but also her gift of encouragement. Inspired by Ann’s work and ministry while on staff at Second, this series intentionally celebrates the creative talents of people of all ages and levels of ability and promotes worship through art. |
