Heather Lewis is the ministry assistant for communications and oversees marketing and communications for the congregation. Her responsibilities include managing the weekly newsletter, social media, website, email communications, advertising, and printed materials.

Heather holds bachelor’s degrees in political science and communications from Southwest Baptist University. She previously worked at a Kansas City-based marketing and communications agency, serving both local and national clients. After stepping away from professional work to raise her children, she brings a blend of creative and strategic experience to her role at Second Baptist Church.

Heather is married to Nathan, and they have two teenage sons. Outside of church life, she enjoys reading, traveling, and baking.
