Angie Fuller serves as children’s pastor at Second Baptist Church, where she welcomes children’s curiosity and seeks to engage both kids and their caregivers in a growing faith. She provides leadership for weekly discipleship and pastoral care for children and helps guide special events for children and families.

Before joining the staff in 2020, Angie served for more than 20 years in a variety of roles within Second Baptist Church’s children’s and music ministries. During that time, she also taught for more than 18 years in preschool, elementary, and middle school classrooms. Angie holds bachelor’s degrees in elementary education and early childhood education from the University of Northern Iowa and a master’s degree in curriculum and instruction from the University of Missouri–Kansas City.

A native of Pella, Iowa, Angie enjoys the Midwest’s four seasons and loves spending time in the mountains or at a lake. Her interests include jogging, baking, music, games, mysteries, and dark chocolate. Family time is most important to Angie, especially with her husband, David, and their adult children, Adam and Naomi.
