Mothers of Preschoolers (MOPS)

What is MOPS?

MOPS is a group that strives to meet the needs of every mom with children from birth through kindergarten. MOPS recognizes that urban, suburban, and rural moms, stay-at-home and working moms, teen, single, and married moms all share a similar desire to be the very best moms they can be.

Daytime MOPS:

Is a place for Moms of Kindergarteners and younger to meet, eat and grow. We meet one Friday morning a month and completing an application beforehand is helpful. Childcare is available for a small fee. Interested?

Complete an application here.

Nighttime MOPS:

This is a new group and looking to grow and expand their activities. We meet on the 2nd Wednesday of the month at 6:00 p.m. in the Oak Room. Childcare is available. We usually watch a video and discuss it. Our meetings are a place for Moms to come and be in a judgment-free environment. Childcare is not available. Interested Moms can email us

2018-19 MOPS THEME

Never let the fire go out … When you hope, be joyful. When you suffer, be patient. When you pray, be faithful. Share with God’s people who are in need. Welcome others into your homes.
– Romans 12:11-13 (NIrV 1998)

Fire is a tool utilized only by human beings. Since the beginning of time, humans have congregated around its warmth for light, protection, and company. Every other creature on the planet fears fire, but we’ve been given the unique ability to harness it, to use its power to improve our lives. Not only that, but poets and artists have used fire to describe the God-given spark that wakes us up in the morning and fuels our purpose and passion. Whatever the context, fire is not to be ignored.

Practical help

Need some inspiration? At every meeting there will be a speaker or video that gives practical tools and insight into the specific things that are important to you.

Personal mentoring

Meet a Mentor Mom who has been through it all and has great advice and a willing ear.

Time to chat

We moms need each other. At each meeting, there will be time to get to know other moms in an accepting small group atmosphere.

You'll get crafty

We like to try new things and be creative. Each meeting includes a fun craft activity...sometimes for ourselves, sometimes to bless someone else.

Care for your kids

We call it MOPPETS, and it is an excellent program staffed by trained teachers who will nurture your kids in a preschool-like environment.

Learn to lead

MOPS groups are organized and run by mothers of preschoolers. Gain leadership skills through the training and experience provided by MOPS.

Outside of our monthly MOPS meetings

We have informal playdates, family events, dinners out for moms, and lots of other fun times. Our goal is to help make Liberty a community for moms to find support and friendship. It is always with God as our guide and our focus.
