SUMMARY:Student Ministry Fall Retreat
DESCRIPTION:All middle and high school students are invited to our annual Fall Retreat.\nThis year’s retreat is Friday, November 6-Sunday, November 8, at Miracle Hills Ranch in Bethany, MO. Registration is required, and the deadline to register is November 1. Click here to register.\nWe’ll leave on Friday, November 6, at 6 p.m. and return around noon on Sunday, November 8. The cost is $100, which covers all weekend expenses. If your family has multiple students attending the retreat, the cost is $75 per student.\nThis year, our speaker is Cassie Buhlig. Cassie is passionate about helping us understand each other better and finding Christ among the overlooked and undervalued. She has a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and a Master of Divinity from BSK Theological Seminary. She serves as an associate pastor (student pastor) at the First Baptist Church of Dixon, IL, and an instructor of World Religions at Sauk Valley Community College. In her free time, she enjoys photography, coaching volleyball, hiking, and spending time with her husband, Joe, and two kids, Beau and Carolina. Fun fact: Cassie’s husband, Joe, grew up here at 2BC. Joe’s parents are Mark and Marilyn Buhlig.\nSince Miracle Hills is only about an hour north, if you have a conflict that weekend but can still attend some of the retreat, please feel free to sign up.
