Allan Aunspaugh has served as
Minister of Music at Second Baptist Church since August 2003. He is a
native of Arkansas and a graduate of Arkansas Tech University where he
earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology. After serving as a
Missionary Journeyman in Okinawa, Japan for two years, he attended
Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas,
graduating with a Master of Music degree. Allan served churches as
Minister of Music in Maryland, Arkansas, and Louisiana prior to coming
to Second Baptist.
Allan's professional memberships include the American Charal
Director's Association, Chorister's Guild, and YouthCue, an
organization that promotes church youth choirs. In his spare time,
Allan enjoys home remodeling, yard work, and golf.
Allan is married to Anne Baker Aunspaugh, a William Jewell graduate, and they have three daughters: Rachel, Emily, and Alyssa.
